I recently purchased a couple of IP cameras online and found the inbuilt software buggy and unreliable. Sometimes settings would work, other times they would fail. After searching for a better alternative I eventually came across Xeoma. It’s a stand-out Application. Right away, I was pretty impressed by Xeoma. It automatically searches the network for cameras, even the webcam was recognized as a video stream.
Setup was painless. I found it quick and easy to create record schedules. The motion detection works really great with areas that trigger emails, and it has a time delay feature which records a period before an event occurs as well as the event, and the sensitivity level is customizable, (so you don't get an email every time the cat walks past the camera!). I love that I can access my cameras at home while I am at work. I found it easy to use and am overall pretty impressed with it.
I haven’t yet played with some of the features like SMS notifications and setting access restrictions, but I like that it has those functions ready for when I get around to setting it up.
Another point worth a mention is the interface. It’s pretty impressive, in one word 'Sleek!'.
I highly recommend it. If you’re looking for a surveillance application, give it a try, it cross platform compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux, and its well-priced.

I am not a video surveillance pro, I was searching for some software to use for home video surveillance and while making an online research I found several references to this product and decided to try (along with some other programs). What I like is that it is easy as no other program I had experience with so far. Plus the support team is just awesome (and I asked them A LOT due to my lack of tech knowledge). Good stuff.

Both great for professional and home use. I accidently bumped into information about this beautiful program on some online discussion board. It captured my attention. I found the developers website, downloaded the software. Tested it for 1 week and ended up buying a license and writing this review. Just because I really like and recommend this program for both professionals (I am one too) and non-techs at all. And, what is also important, the price. More than reasonable.

Pretty good, I like it, haven’t experienced any trouble yet. I like the design, really unusual for such kind of software, but very handy and great for tablets (which I use a lot to remotely maintain the surveillance system and watch the footage). What else…most of the features are listed in the review, I’m just sharing my experience and I truly recommend it.

Xeoma software is very useful and powerful. It has got a lot of features, for example: motion detection, alerts etc. Works on computers and phone devices. I'm happy with using this software - it's easy to use also for newbies. Many pros and I can't see any cons. It's worth of its price.
