Gadwin PrintScreen reviews
Gadwin PrintScreen 5.0 |
What were they thinking when they upgraded a almost great product to the worst nightmare I could imagine? The old product just need some logical changes to be perfect, but this new one is ridiculous to use and configure. Who said it needed all those changes to be great? You need training and a book to get the new Gadwin to do things that use to be simple with the old Gadwin. The old Gadwin just needed the interface to include redirection on the first screen that comes up after the capture. Then it needed the top button to be continue instead of the second from the top. Go ahead and get the new version and try it for yourself, then you might understand why I kept the old version handy, and that is what I continue to use. It is the best screen capture program. The only flaw that kept some from using it was when in an RDP session, and Gadwin was only running on the local desktop. The way around it was to turn your RDP session into a windowed RDP session instead of Full Screen, Then Gadwin would come up on the local machine an let you gram any part of the image you could see. |

This program is intuitive and easy to use, and does exactly what it says it will. Excellent screen-grabbing utility that is invisible but requires only one key-press to activate. Really nice to get something free that works so well. Thanks Gadwin! |

Just tested 5 different freeware screenshot utilities. I chose this one because it simple, "invisible", you can assign the PrtSc as hotkey and it automatically stores it in the clipboard. Quality is fine, but I did not see much difference between the utilities. |
