Very good interface. Simple, smart and functional.
+ Will burn from HDD to disc. Uses VIDEO_TS folders.
+ Will allow setting volume name.
+ Can use it to burn DVD+R(Lightscribe & non-lightscribe) and DVD+R DL(Lightscribe & non-lightscribe). YES, IT ACTUALLY BURNS Verbatim Lightscribe DUAL LAYER DISCS! ( no other SW has been able do that successfully )
+ DL DVD disc: Average write speed: 7.5x (10395 KB/s) [LG GH22NS30 burner]
+ DVD disc: Average write speed: 14.4x (19986 KB/s) [LG GH22NS30 burner]
...Videos look great - just like original. Perfect for backup copies.
- Does not remember speed set for different disc media and will run at auto warp speed if user forgets to change the speed. No coasters so far even at the max. allowed speed of the media.
- DVD+RW would not work.
[ However, I suspect it is Microsoft at fault since the OS refuses to recognize the DVD+RW discs(Verbatim and RiData). No other software has been able to burn RW on MS WinXPx64 but K3B worked on Linux. ].
Have not tried CDR or CDRW yet but expect them to just work.
