Was searching and searching for a freeware utility that would allow me to access my failing hard drive and came across this utility. Within 30 seconds of installation I had access to my dying drive which allowed me to back it up before it completely failed. Fantastic.
Of course I was lucky and didn't require disk recovery tools, which was what i was looking for initially.
