2.8.3 Apr 8, 2024 New Release Update: This build fixes a hang some users were experiencing at startup.
Variables can now be entered into parameter values on the New Project page, as well as default values and prefixes / suffixes in the Parameters pane of Preferences.
This allows you to create more complex naming conventions with repeating values, without having to enter redundant information. For example, you could add "[project number]-" as a prefix to all other parameters so that every subfolder in the path contains the project number.
2.8 May 15, 2023 New Release You can now add prefixes and suffixes to augment a parameter's value from the Preferences > Parameters window. Note that prefixes and suffixes will not be applied to blank parameter values; the parameter will be skipped entirely.
Removed telemetry from the app.
Updated project templates and blank project file templates.
Fixed an issue where the software updater could cause a "Background Items Added" alert to appear multiple times.
Minor bug fixes, tweaks and optimizations.
