Windows 8 is great at first! it looks good, new and colorful. its also easy to access. Sadly there are more wrongs than rights. When I play games on my laptop I constantly get kicked out of my game for a page I've never clicked on or wanted to. In order to connect your device you need a Microsoft account. The only email I can use on windows 8 is Microsoft. I understand that they want people to use Microsoft but they don't need to make it more difficult and not let us use it making the windows 8 home page pointless for most of us. You don't see apple or droid and only let you use your email if its approved by them? This is just the beginning of a monopoly Microsoft is building. To bad though they made it to forcible and I don't want to change email accounts to be able to use it. to much work for something so little. My friends agree with all of this and most people I know don't like windows 8 and have downgraded. I might do the same if this isn't changed. |

I want to say, Windows has improved the speed and Performance of my Laptop, I upgraded from vista to Windows 7 to Windows 8. I wish I could say the same about my Desktop. I originally had a dual operating system in the PC, after the install, it went away it took over the PC. When I tried to install Flight Simulator X, another surprise it does not like it. After trying to install other programs and I was not able too, I proceeded to remove windows 8, That is when the problem really started. For some reason I was not able to access the other Hard Drives with the other versions of windows. I had to reinstall them again, when I tried to recover the Windows 8 Hard Drive, it would not let me format it with Windows Vista Utility. Finally I was able to recover most of my PC, If you need to keep your dual operating system or want to do some gaming, Windows 8 is not for you, unless your game was designed for windows 8. So for now my copy of windows 8 will sit in a drawer uninstalled. My laptop is okay, I did like the Older card games format. |
